Lao Ambassador to Belgium solemnly congratulates Vietnam National Day September 2

On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), on August 28, the Lao Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, Kingphokeo Phommahaxay, his wife and staff of the Lao Embassy, visited the Vietnamese Embassy in Brussels to congratulate.

According to a VNA reporter in Brussels, Ambassador Kingphokeo Phommahaxay presented the Vietnamese Embassy with a beautiful flower basket, expressing deep friendship and appreciation for the achievements that Vietnam has made.

The Ambassador sent warm congratulations to the Government and people of Vietnam on the occasion of the National Day, and expressed admiration for the remarkable development achievements that Vietnam has made in recent years.

The Ambassador emphasized that the traditional friendship and special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos, two brotherly nations, has been increasingly consolidated and developed, becoming an exemplary symbol of international solidarity and friendship.

Ambassador Kingphokeo Phommahaxay also expressed his wish to continue promoting and strengthening the special relationship between the two countries in all areas, from economics , culture, education, to defense and security cooperation.

Vietnamese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, Nguyen Van Thao expressed his sincere gratitude for the good feelings that Ambassador Kingphokeo Phommahaxay and Lao friends have shown to the Vietnamese people.

Ambassador Nguyen Van Thao also affirmed his hope that the two embassies will continue to coordinate more closely within the framework of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), in order to actively contribute to building a united, prosperous and sustainably developed ASEAN community.

Ambassador Nguyen Van Thao emphasized the importance of enhancing exchanges and cooperation between the two embassies, thereby contributing to further strengthening the friendship and special cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Laos.

The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, demonstrating the close relationship between Vietnam and Laos, two brotherly nations that always accompany each other on the path of development and international integration./.
