On the morning of June 30, in the solemn atmosphere of the whole country simultaneously holding the "Ceremony to announce resolutions and decisions of the Central and local governments on merging provincial and communal administrative units, establishing party organizations, appointing Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, Fatherland Fronts of provinces, cities, communes, wards, and special zones", at the headquarters of the Vietnamese Embassy in Beijing, China, a large number of officials and staff of the Embassy and agencies adjacent to the Embassy gathered to watch a special live television program of Vietnam Television.

Witnessing the historic moment of the nation, the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in China felt the sacredness and importance of this moment and expressed their excitement, pride, and determination to accompany the people of the whole country to realize the "strategic transformation" of the country and people of Vietnam.

Speaking to all the staff of the Embassy, Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh emphasized the significance and historical significance of this event, saying that this is a very practical and important step in bringing the country into an era of growth and prosperous development.

Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh affirmed that the arrangement and implementation of the two-level local government model is a strong and necessary step forward to promote the improvement of the effectiveness, efficiency and performance of the government apparatus at all levels; thereby, building governments at all levels that are close to the people, understand the people, and serve the people better; at the same time, expanding the space for sustainable development for the country.

Implementing the spirit and direction of General Secretary To Lam in his speech at the announcement ceremony, in the coming time, the Vietnamese Embassy in China as well as Vietnamese representative agencies abroad will accompany authorities at all levels, agencies, organizations and localities in the country to deploy specific activities towards a streamlined and modern administration, serving people both at home and abroad better and better.

At the same time, the Embassy will actively promote and mobilize the Vietnamese community living, studying and working in China to promote the tradition of great solidarity, the spirit of mutual love, towards the homeland and national roots, actively do well their work and duties, and contribute to the development of the country.
