According to Vietnam News Agency, at the reception following the presentation of credentials, President Masoud Pezeshkian congratulated Ambassador Nguyen Luong Ngoc on his new assignment, and expressed his belief that the Ambassador will make many important contributions to strengthening and further promoting the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Iran, for the benefit of the people of the two countries.
President Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran and Vietnam have built a historic, friendly and close relationship over the years. He affirmed that Iran wishes to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam in many areas such as politics , defense - security, economy, culture and people-to-people exchange. The Iranian leader also said that his country is ready to share its experience with Vietnam in many aspects.

Ambassador Nguyen Luong Ngoc respectfully conveyed the greetings and best wishes ofPresident Luong Cuong to President Masoud Pezeshkian. The Ambassador expressed his honor and pride to work in Iran - a country with a civilization of more than 8,000 years, a culture rich in identity and friendly and intelligent people. The Ambassador also congratulated the Iranian people on the great achievements since the Islamic Revolution in 1979.
Emphasizing the important role and position of Vietnam and Iran in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, Ambassador Nguyen Luong Ngoc said that the two countries have great potential for cooperation and share the aspiration for peace and development. In his new position, the Ambassador pledged to do his best to further deepen the comprehensive friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Iran.
