Colonel Tran Minh Tien, born in 1967, grew up from the grassroots, is a police officer of Ha Nam province; has held the following positions: Chief of Binh Luc District Police, Ha Nam province; Head of Criminal Police Department; Deputy Director of Police, Head of Investigation Police Agency of Ha Nam province.
In March 2021, Colonel Tran Minh Tien was transferred and appointed by the Minister of Public Security as Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police.
In 2022, Colonel Tran Minh Tien was transferred to work and hold the position of Director of Nam Dinh Provincial Police.
Also at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc also presented the Decision on retirement from work pending retirement benefits to Lieutenant General Do Van Hoanh, Director, Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency from February 1, 2024.
