On January 30, in Hanoi , Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister - Head of the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency, presented the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer of Colonel Tran Minh Tien, Director of Nam Dinh Provincial Police to hold the position of Director, Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency.

In his congratulatory speech and assignment of tasks to Colonel Tran Minh Tien, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc said that Colonel Tran Minh Tien is a cadre who has grown up from the grassroots, has a firm ideological stance, and good moral qualities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Tran Minh Tien affirmed that he will uphold the sense of responsibility, devote all his efforts and intelligence to unite with the Party Committee, the unit's leaders and all officers and soldiers to overcome all difficulties; be determined and make the highest effort to excellently complete all assigned tasks. In particular, he will work with the leaders and officers in the unit to research and propose to the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security, and the Head of the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency solutions to effectively prevent and combat all types of crimes; guide and inspect the activities of the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Force, and at the same time direct the investigation of key cases monitored and directed by the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption and Anti-Negativity...

Colonel Tran Minh Tien promised to make every effort to fulfill the tasks assigned by the Ministry of Public Security; he himself will continue to be exemplary, disciplined, continue to cultivate and train to excellently complete the assigned tasks. Colonel Tran Minh Tien, born in 1967, grew up from the grassroots, is a police officer of Ha Nam province; has held the following positions: Chief of Binh Luc District Police, Ha Nam province; Head of Criminal Police Department; Deputy Director of Police, Head of Investigation Police Agency of Ha Nam province.

In March 2021, Colonel Tran Minh Tien was transferred and appointed by the Minister of Public Security as Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police.

In 2022, Colonel Tran Minh Tien was transferred to work and hold the position of Director of Nam Dinh Provincial Police.

Also at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc also presented the Decision on retirement from work pending retirement benefits to Lieutenant General Do Van Hoanh, Director, Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency from February 1, 2024.
