On the morning of June 4 (local time), in the capital Phnom Penh, General Nguyen Tan Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, and Deputy Minister of National Defense, paid a courtesy visit to Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet on the occasion of his official visit to Cambodia.

Regarding the direction of military and defense cooperation in the coming time, the two sides agreed to continue to strengthen the building of trust, maintain delegation exchanges and cooperation mechanisms, further improve the quality of human resource training, and support each other at multilateral forums and mechanisms.
