The symbolic area project to record the support and assistance of countries in Vietnam's resistance wars was built on an area of 3,600m2 in the campus of the Vietnam Military History Museum, including: Construction of leveling and filling the foundation; yard, traffic roads; platforms for placing symbols and technical infrastructure systems, synchronous equipment. The symbolic part of some countries, in the form of a group of full-body statues, about 3m high including the base, made of red copper; the size of the base block is suitable for the design and arrangement of the symbols.
At this point, the project has begun construction according to the design plan. Regarding the artistic content, leading domestic sculpture experts have researched and prepared sketches of statues from various countries and are currently seeking opinions from these countries on the content and form.

After surveying and listening to the report of the commander of the Propaganda Department and the Logistics Department (General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army) on the content and progress of the project, General Phan Van Giang emphasized that this is a meaningful project, aiming to acknowledge the support and assistance of countries in the resistance wars of the Vietnamese people; requesting the competent agencies to implement the urgent construction order of the Minister of National Defense.
The Logistics Department is the standing agency, advising, proposing and organizing the implementation of the construction part to ensure the progress and quality of the project, in accordance with current regulations. The Vietnam Military History Museum proactively advises and proposes the organization and implementation of the art part. Continue to preside over and coordinate with experts and sculptors to complete the statue sketch model with the correct layout, block lines, harmoniously combining political, foreign affairs and art elements; close to the anthropological and cultural characteristics of each country and ensuring clear dimensions and annotations.
Construction contractor - Army Corps 11 ensures sufficient supplies and materials, increases human resources and equipment to speed up construction to ensure quality and progress of the project.
