Earlier, at around 11am the same day, Hoa Thinh Commune Police received an urgent call for help from the family of pregnant woman Trinh Thi Kim L. (born in 2003, residing in My Phu village, Hoa Thinh commune) about the fact that Ms. L. was showing signs of impending labor but could not go to the clinic because her house was isolated by floodwaters. At this time, Hoa Thinh Commune Police urgently dispatched 6 officers and soldiers using specialized inflatable boats and rescue equipment to My Phu village to respond.

Despite heavy rain and strong floodwaters, the police force reached the house of the pregnant woman L. The police force took the pregnant woman onto a canoe and tried to cross the floodwaters to the nearest medical station. On the way across the flood, the officers always closely monitored the health of the pregnant woman, reassured her and proactively handled any arising situations. Thanks to the timely rescue, the pregnant woman L. was safely taken to the Commune Health Station, ensuring the health of both mother and child.
