From November 29 to December 1, 2023 in Kon Tum city (Kon Tum province), Dak Lak artisans will participate in the 1st Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival of Ethnic Groups in the Central Highlands in 2023.
Accordingly, the delegation participated in the performance introducing an excerpt from "The Ede's Coming of Age Ceremony", introducing cuisine, a mass art festival, and performing traditional costumes of ethnic groups, and mass sports activities.
In addition, Dak Lak also participated in introducing and promoting local cultural and traditional culinary products; displaying art photos promoting the land and people of Dak Lak; demonstrating the making of the Ding Nam musical instrument of the Ede people, and the open-air pottery making of the M'nong people...

The first Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival of the Central Highlands ethnic groups in 2023 was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with a number of central ministries, branches and 5 provinces in the Central Highlands region, with the theme "The Great Central Highlands - Convergence of quintessence".
This is a large-scale festival in the Central Highlands, organized for the first time to create an environment for exchange, learning, and increasing solidarity and friendship among provinces and ethnic groups in the region; thereby, honoring and promoting the values of traditional cultural identities of ethnic groups, contributing to building an advanced Vietnamese culture with strong identity, meeting the requirements of sustainable development.
