Accordingly, the delegation inspected establishments producing, processing, trading, importing food, catering services, establishments producing and trading food items commonly used during the Mid-Autumn Festival such as cakes, jams, candies, beer, wine, soft drinks, bottled water, meat, meat products, collective kitchens, etc.

The delegation focused on inspecting food safety certificates; commitment papers for safe food production; product quality assurance; compliance with regulations on advertising, periodic product testing, product labeling, expiry dates, and traceability.
The inspection team will inspect the conditions of food production, processing and trading; use of additives, colorants, flavorings, processing aids, origin of raw materials; take samples for testing to assess product quality...

In addition, the inspection team will inspect the implementation of regulations on self-declaration of products or registration of product declarations, product declaration procedures, test results and related legal documents and records.

During the inspection, the delegation disseminated and reminded establishments to strictly implement food safety measures. For establishments that did not meet food safety conditions, the delegation guided the owners to overcome shortcomings and limitations.

The food safety inspection during the Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 will take place from September 4 to 13, 2024. The delegation plans to inspect about 32 establishments producing, processing, and trading food items commonly used during the Mid-Autumn Festival in the province.
