Dak R'lap has great potential and advantages in agricultural production with an area of over 56,000 hectares. These agricultural advantages provide the district with many favorable conditions for developing OCOP (One Commune One Product) products.
In recent years, as the various levels of government and organizations in Dak R'lap district have intensified their propaganda, guidance, and support activities, the quantity and quality of OCOP products in the district have rapidly increased.
The powdered coffee product from Bon Hiep, Quang Tin commune, was recognized as a 3-star OCOP product in 2022. According to Mr. Truong Cong Hiep, Director of Bon Hiep One-Member Limited Company, the product is manufactured according to standards and processed using the wet method.

The wet processing method is a major factor contributing to the unique characteristics of Bon Hiep coffee: 100% ripe cherries are selected and thoroughly washed before being put into the milling machine.
Wet processing always involves the following main steps: sorting; removing the outer skin; fermentation to remove mucilage; and drying or sun-drying the finished product. Coffee cherries harvested when ripe and processed through this method retain the maximum amount of sugar and vitamins, resulting in the highest quality product.
According to the leaders of the Dak R'lap District People's Committee, in recent years, the district has paid more attention to the OCOP program to create economic value chains in rural areas and unleash the potential strengths in nature, culture, and economy.
OCOP is considered a direct driving force for building new rural areas, developing production, and increasing average per capita income in the district.

In 2023 and 2024, the district invested nearly 1 billion VND in the OCOP program. In early 2024, the district opened an OCOP product display booth in the district center. This is a convenient location for locals and tourists to visit and shop.
The district actively encourages and supports businesses and products to upgrade their quality and obtain OCOP certification. After certification, they continue to participate in activities related to product introduction, promotion, and sales connection.
Thanks to its strong activities, the OCOP program in Dak R'lap district achieved its highest results ever in 2024. Recently, Dak R'lap district organized an evaluation and ranking of products proposed for OCOP recognition in 2024, including 9 new products and 2 products re-recognized by 10 businesses.
These products have undergone many improvements in quality, diverse designs, and comply with regulations on labels, tags, and traceability. Based on the evaluation results, the district assessed 11 products as meeting the OCOP 3-star standard.

Thus, to date, Dak R'lap has basically 21 products that have achieved OCOP 3-star status, with some products being proposed to the Provincial People's Committee for re-recognition at 4-star. This is the highest number of OCOP products the district has ever had.
According to Ms. Thi Ha Ri Na from Bu Za Zah hamlet, Nghia Thang commune, she is very happy that her rice wine product has been recognized as a 3-star OCOP product. This is a source of pride for her and the Bu Za Zah community.
She pays more attention to ensuring that the ingredients are prepared safely and hygienically, are of good quality, and that the products are conveniently labeled with traceability tags for customers.
She hopes that her products will continue to receive local support in terms of promotion and sales, in order to sustainably maintain the traditional craft and increase income for herself and the local community.

According to the leaders of the Dak R'lap District People's Committee, the district's OCOP program is attracting increasing attention from various stakeholders, including households, businesses, and cooperatives, resulting in a diverse range of products based on local potential and advantages.
OCOP has contributed to promoting linkages and cooperation in goods production, economic development, and improving the operational efficiency of economic organizations, especially cooperatives.
Many of the district's OCOP products are highly appreciated by consumers for their quality, value, and food safety, serving not only the domestic market but also for export.
