Ensuring safe and stable power supply during the April 30 and May 1 holidays

At this time, departments, offices and power companies under Can Tho City Power Company regularly monitor the load on the 110kV power lines and transformer stations managed by the unit; at the same time, fully prepare means, materials and human resources to ensure reasonable, safe and reliable operation of the power grid under normal conditions and flexibly switch in case of incidents. Along with that, strengthen leadership, operation and 24/7 power repair on-duty during holidays; coordinate with authorities at all levels and functional units to deploy plans to protect security and order, safety and fire prevention during holidays and serve political, cultural and artistic events celebrating the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation Day, National Reunification Day and International Labor Day 1-5.

In particular, from April 28 to May 2, district and county power companies will not stop or reduce power supply, causing power outages to customers (except in cases of force majeure). Strengthen operational discipline to ensure security, safety and fire prevention for power projects, agencies, headquarters as well as densely populated areas, tourist areas, entertainment venues, etc. to meet the electricity needs of people and tourists during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
