The Ministry of Construction has just sent a document to agencies and units in the industry regarding strengthening solutions to better serve people's travel needs and ensure traffic order and safety during the National Day holiday on September 2, 2025.

Accordingly, in order to better serve people's travel needs and ensure traffic order and safety during the National Day holiday on September 2, 2025, the Ministry of Construction requests the Vietnam Road Administration to guide and urge the Departments of Construction of provinces and cities to direct transport businesses and bus stations to publicly, transparently and in accordance with regulations on transport fares, prices and service fees at bus stations.

Passenger transport business units have appropriate transport organization plans, carrying the correct permitted load, the correct number of people according to regulations, ensuring capacity and quality of transport services; handling the situation of "illegal buses, illegal stations", overloaded vehicles operating...

Departments of Construction of provinces and cities shall effectively implement solutions to control and reduce traffic accidents on roads under their management; especially focusing on regulations to ensure traffic safety for commercial vehicles (speed, continuous driving time, carrying more passengers than prescribed)...

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam strengthens flight safety control. The Vietnam Maritime and Waterways Authority directs port authorities to strengthen traffic safety assurance on coastal transport routes, waterway transport routes from shore to island, especially passenger transport vehicles from shore to island, and ships serving tourists . The Vietnam Railway Authority directs railway authorities to strengthen coordination, inspection, timely prevention and strict handling of violations of traffic rules at level crossings, and acts of encroachment on railway traffic safety corridors under their authority.

Vietnam Railways Corporation plans to increase the frequency of trains on main routes and regional routes; reduce ticket prices for policy beneficiaries. At the same time, it will improve the quality of passenger services on trains and at stations to ensure convenience and safety; promptly detect and handle ticket touts and illegal ticket sales, etc.
