Dam Ha: Striving for an average per capita income of USD 4,350 by 2024.

Over the two days of July 16-17, with a scientific , serious, democratic, and frank exchange, discussion, and questioning spirit, and with a high sense of responsibility, the 22nd session of the Dam Ha District People's Council, 5th term, completed all the planned agenda items, passing 14 resolutions with high consensus and unity from the district People's Council delegates.

Comrade Do Thi Ninh Huong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, delivered a speech at the meeting.

In the first six months of 2024, the socio-economic development of the district achieved positive results: The value of production in the three sectors was estimated at 4,559 billion VND; the total value of goods circulation and service revenue reached 1,492 billion VND; and the number of tourists visiting the district reached 36,300. The district actively coordinated with the investor, SHINEC Joint Stock Company, to implement the infrastructure development steps for the East Dam Ha B Industrial Cluster. Emphasis was placed on developing culture and human resources, ensuring social security, equity, and progress; and improving the quality of life for the people.

During the session, delegates spent considerable time discussing in groups and in the plenary session, asking and answering questions on issues of concern to voters and the public, such as: budget revenue collection; progress in allocating sea areas; approval and disbursement of funds to support production development; and improving the quality of education and training…

The Dam Ha District People's Council has voted to approve 14 resolutions, striving to achieve The economic growth rate in 2024 is projected to reach 18.2% or higher; per capita income in 2024 is expected to reach approximately US$4,350 ; local budget revenue is targeted by the province; efforts are being made to achieve the budget revenue growth target set in the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term ; and total social investment is projected to increase by an average of 18.4% or more per year.
