Bonsai with unique shapes and sizes gathers, pleasing viewers

Hundreds of valuable bonsai works with unique shapes and forms from 4 provinces and cities in the Central region gathered in Da Nang City, making many people excited.
The 2nd Da Nang Golden Apricot Exhibition and the 2024 Open Bonsai Exhibition has just opened at 3 Phan Dang Luu Street (opposite Asia Park, Hoa Cuong Bac Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City) attracting many visitors, especially to admire the unique and strange bonsai shapes.
Bonsai trees brought to the competition and exhibition are the dedicated works of artisans.

The contest had the participation of many artisans in Da Nang city and 100 gardeners from 4 provinces: Thua Thien - Hue, Quang Nam , Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh.
The gardener meticulously cares for each of his works.

Gardeners brought to the contest a variety of works with dozens of types of bonsai such as pine, mountain fir, yellow apricot, water mai... Mr. Le Nguyen Anh Tuan (41 years old, residing in Cam Le District, Da Nang City) brought about 70 bonsai, the price of the trees ranges from 200,000 VND to several hundred million VND/tree depending on the shape and age of the tree.
The ginseng tree of artisan Vu Van Tam has a unique shape.

In addition, the bonsai exhibition also displays many valuable rockery, miniature landscape, and rockery works of gardeners.
The work "Spring Colors" evokes the beautiful natural scenery when the earth and sky enter spring.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thinh (65 years old, residing in Duy Xuyen District, Quang Nam) shared: "I brought nearly 100 works to this year's competition to display, serving the people to visit and enjoy. Each stone work has its own natural features, it is very difficult to have the same work". His works have been displayed in many other competitions and exhibitions.
The Ancient Tower work is displayed at the exhibition.

At the exhibition, the organizing committee judged and awarded 70 prizes, including 19 consolation prizes, 21 bronze prizes, 15 silver prizes, and 15 gold prizes to artisans.
Succulent pots are on display at the exhibition.

The contest is an opportunity for artists to learn and exchange ornamental plants. Locals and tourists also have a space to admire unique bonsai when spring comes. The exhibition will end on February 6.
