(Dan Tri) - The speakers of the ESG Implementation Workshop using science and technology are experts and representatives of many prestigious businesses and organizations with experience in ESG implementation and sustainable development.

The workshop “Implementing ESG with science and technology - From data to action” was organized by Dan Tri newspaper at 1:30 p.m. on November 26, at Pullman Hotel ( Hanoi ). The workshop is part of the series of events of the Vietnam ESG Forum 2025 with the theme "Science and technology and driving force for sustainable development".

Applying science and technology and data management is a story that many businesses are interested in, but how to deploy and integrate it into ESG implementation is not a simple story.

In the context of the whole world applying science and technology, the whole economy talking about digital transformation and businesses being encouraged to implement digital transformation in the spirit of Resolution 57 and Resolution 68, the question is what can businesses do internally to optimize ESG implementation by applying science and technology to operations and management.

The workshop “ESG implementation with science and technology - From data to action” includes 2 sessions of presentations and in-depth discussions, focusing on analyzing trends in applying data and technology in ESG implementation, as well as new requirements for businesses in the context of sustainable development.

The speakers are all leading experts from regulatory agencies, research organizations, technology companies and large corporations that are actively implementing ESG. They will share practical experiences, analyze barriers in data collection and management, and propose solutions for businesses to accelerate the ESG transformation process effectively and feasibly.

The workshop promises to bring multi-dimensional perspectives, update new models, and open up direct dialogue between management agencies and the business community to promote the application of science and technology as an important driving force for sustainable development.

In the discussion session, the speaker will share in-depth analysis and practical experiences on the application of science and technology in measuring, managing and promoting ESG implementation in businesses as well as working units.

Prof. Dr. Mac Quoc Anh - Vice President and General Secretary of the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Director of the Institute of Economics and Enterprise Development.

Mr. Mac Quoc Anh is a science and technology expert with many practical research projects. He is also an expert with many years of experience in consulting and supporting businesses, contributing to the development of policies to improve the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises.

He also has many activities to help the small and medium-sized enterprise community grow and develop to promote the country's sustainable development and effective international integration. In addition, the Director of the Institute of Economics and Enterprise Development also accompanies businesses to support the implementation of ESG standards to promote responsible business, towards a sustainable future.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ta Hai Tung - Principal of School of Information and Communication Technology - Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

Associate Professor Dr. Ta Hai Tung has a PhD in Information and Communication Technology from 3 Italian polytechnic universities. He has been a researcher in Australia and Italy, a lecturer since 2003, Director of the International Center for Research and Development of Satellite Positioning Technology (2011-2018) and Chairman of the Asian Multi-System Positioning Technology Organization (2016-2019).

Associate Professor, Dr. Ta Hai Tung has more than 70 scientific works and has been awarded many prestigious awards such as the Golden Globe for 10 young talents in Science and Technology (2013), Vietnam Talent (2015), and a certificate of merit from Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh for his contributions in implementing the Project on Production, Issuance and Management of Citizen Identification Cards (2021).

In addition to Prof. Dr. Mac Quoc Anh, the speaker also included Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nutricare Joint Stock Company, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Association of Key Industrial Products Production.

In May 2024, Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh was elected Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Association of Key Industrial Products Manufacturers (HAMI). Mr. Minh said that taking on this position will open up new opportunities, helping him to promote his role in promoting the capital's key industry to develop more strongly.

HAMI is a professional association that gathers enterprises that produce key industrial products in Hanoi. This is a bridge for enterprises to exchange, learn experiences, joint ventures, associates, and cooperate in production and business for mutual development, creating momentum for the development of the manufacturing industry in particular and the economy in general.

Mr. Ta Huu Thanh, Commercial Director of Vietjet Joint Stock Company, will participate as a speaker at the Workshop. He will share an airline's perspective on how businesses exploit science and technology and data management to optimize ESG implementation - a journey with many opportunities but also many challenges in the context of the global digital transformation and Vietnam promoting technology application in the spirit of Resolution 57 and Resolution 68.

With two in-depth presentations and discussions, the workshop will analyze the trend of applying data and technology in ESG implementation, and point out new requirements for businesses on the path to sustainable development.

Dr. Le Thai Ha - Executive Director of VinFuture Foundation, Fund for Green Future will lead the discussion session.

Dr. Ha is the only Vietnamese female scientist named in the top most influential scientists in the world (2021-2023). Graduated with a PhD in Economics from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore at the age of 24, Dr. Ha is a prestigious researcher with more than 80 articles in prestigious scientific journals - leading journals in the fields of energy economics, environment and applied economics.

For many years, she has been listed in the top 1% of the most influential scientists in the world (according to Stanford University). Dr. Ha is also the only female member of the Scientific Council of Economics (NAFOSTED, 2022-2024).

Ms. Do Thi Thu Phuong - Deputy Head of Department, Environmental Safety and Sustainable Development Department, Vietnam National Energy Industry Group (PVN).

Ms. Do Thi Thu Phuong - Deputy Head of the Department of Environmental Safety and Sustainable Development, Vietnam National Energy Industry Group (PVN) - will participate as a speaker, sharing practical experiences in sustainable management, integrating technology into operational processes and ESG models that PVN is implementing.
