Filming from dusk until 4am was finished, when Linh Hue walked out to her lover, the place where he was standing was already covered with cigarette butts. Phuong Thanh married Meritorious Artist Nguyen Anh Dung (later the director of the Vietnam Drama Theater). The couple met when they co-starred in the movie Ky niem doi trang. After getting married, Phuong Thanh rarely appeared on screen. In February 2009, she passed away at the age of 53 after 5 days in a coma due to a stroke.
