Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa Party Committee: The first journey with many impressions

Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa inaugurated and handed over the social security project - Hai Linh Primary School, Nghi Son town.

Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa Party Committee was established on January 30, 2019, under the Thanh Hoa Provincial Enterprise Bloc Party Committee, until March 2020 under the Thanh Hoa Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc Party Committee and from April 2023 under the Agribank Party Committee.

At the beginning of the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee had 10 affiliated Party cells with 99 Party members. To date, there are 17 affiliated Party cells with 236 Party members. Following the direction of the Agribank Party Committee, from the beginning of the term, the Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa Party Committee has determined that the Party leads comprehensively, Party building is a key task, carried out with the spirit of solidarity, innovation, creativity and the highest determination, promptly developing specific programs and plans, suitable to the new situation, implementing synchronously, creating a solid foundation for banking activities.

Party building work is carried out seriously and systematically; political and ideological education is emphasized, the thoughts, aspirations and aspirations of cadres, party members and workers are grasped, and timely directions are given to resolve difficulties and problems arising from the grassroots; and unity and consensus are created throughout the Party.

Personnel work is carried out regularly and according to procedures, with attention paid to building a team of leaders and managers with political qualities, practical capacity, daring to think and act, and a high sense of responsibility for work; focusing on young, capable cadres with basic training, good health and moral qualities to create new momentum in implementing tasks; promoting exemplary vanguardism, fulfilling exemplary responsibilities, especially for leaders of party organizations, professional organizations and unions...

During the term, the Party Committee admitted 41 new Party members (the target of admitting 20 Party members). The Party Committee implemented the model of "Four-Good Party Cells" and "Four-Good Grassroots Party Committees", assigned Party Committee members to be in charge and supervise the implementation, organized quarterly and yearly summaries, recognized and rewarded 14 Party Cells that met the "Four-Good Party Cells" standards, and at the same time proposed that the Agribank Party Committee recognize the Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa Party Committee as meeting the "Four-Good Grassroots Party Committee" standards. During the term, 96% of Party members completed their tasks well or better.

The work of inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline was carried out seriously; the work of mass mobilization and caring for the lives, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers was given attention. Based on the direction of the Party Committee, mass organizations operated in accordance with the charter, promoted their role in supervision, criticism and giving suggestions for Party building; organized well collective activities to attract union members and workers to participate, contributing to building the culture, image and brand of Agribank, such as: "Cultural Week"; "For a Green Future" running race; "Community Bookshelf"; "Agribank Impression" clip contest; "Agribank Moments" photo contest; contest of talented and elegant Agribank officials...

Leaders have well implemented the grassroots democracy regulations, the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization"; the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"; organized direct reception and dialogue, promptly handled the reflections and recommendations of customers, partners, cadres, party members and employees; the work of building and implementing corporate culture has achieved good results, 100% of party cells have deployed the set of criteria for building culturally standard enterprises, model enterprises; during the term, 3 units have achieved the title "Culturally Standard Unit"...

The Party Committee has closely followed the orientation and direction of the Party Committee and the superior bank, leading and directing the comprehensive implementation of key tasks according to the Resolution of the Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, in line with reality, ensuring operational safety, complying with the law and regulations of the Party and the industry. Leading and directing business activities to overcome difficulties, achieving positive results, affirming the role of the 100% State-owned commercial bank branch in supporting people and businesses to restore production and business, contributing to local economic development, fully fulfilling obligations to the State, ensuring jobs, increasing income and regimes and policies for employees, creating a stable, effective and sustainable working environment, uniting employees to build a strong Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa collective.

The scale of capital and outstanding loans as of early May 2025 reached over 37,000 billion VND, 2.4 times higher than when it was established in 2019. Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa also promoted the expansion of customer development and banking products and services, focusing on developing non-cash payments, actively transforming digitally, transforming greenly, developing e-banking services; regularly deploying, launching and promoting patriotic emulation movements among party members and employees, creating motivation to promote the successful completion of assigned tasks... Thanks to that, in the period of 2020-2025, the branch continuously achieved and exceeded all 6/6 business targets, the scale of the targets all increased.

Along with business development leadership, the Party Committee of Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa always pays attention to proactively and responsibly implementing social security work, leading the implementation of many activities such as: giving Tet gifts to poor households, policy households, poor patients with 12,220 cases with an amount of 6.1 billion VND; supporting the construction of 25 gratitude houses with an amount of over 1.7 billion VND; sponsoring the construction of Quang Hop Secondary School (Quang Xuong) and Hai Linh Primary School (Nghi Son town) with an amount of 12 billion VND; donating and supporting the COVID-19 Prevention Fund, supporting localities to overcome the consequences of natural disasters with an amount of 3.4 billion VND; donating bookshelves and learning equipment worth more than 700 million VND; donating more than 100,000 seedlings to implement Tet tree planting... The total amount of money to implement social security programs in the last term was 25 billion VND. Each social security program demonstrates the branch's responsibility to the community, spreading humanitarian values, contributing to building the image of Agribank as "Bank for the community".

Party Secretary and Director of Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa Tran Van Thanh said: In the coming time, the Party Committee of Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa will continue to closely follow the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and the banking sector's policies, especially in the Agribank system on monetary and credit activities to proactively develop appropriate and effective plans and leadership and direction measures. At the same time, strengthen capital mobilization measures, create stable capital sources, ensure balance for credit growth and liquidity.

In credit investment, Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa continues to implement the motto "Growth, safety, efficiency, sustainability", determining the investment structure towards directly serving production, business, export and living needs; promoting investment in household and individual economy, small and medium enterprises; linking credit growth with strict management and control of credit quality, limiting bad debt. Timely and effectively implementing credit policies and guidelines serving agricultural and rural development of the Government and superior banks, preferential credit programs of Agribank.

In the 2025-2030 term, Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa strives to increase capital growth by an average of 9-11% annually; credit balance growth by 9-11%; service revenue growth by 4-6%; fulfill obligations to the State and superior banks, comply with industry regulations and rules, ensure safe operations at all branches, and ensure income for officers and employees...

With the achievements in the past term, the Party Committee of Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa has continuously achieved the title of clean and strong. At the same time, it is one of the leading branches in the emulation movement of Agribank, receiving the Emulation Flag of the State Bank of Vietnam in 2021, the Emulation Flag of the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee in 2024, many times receiving Certificates of Merit from the Governor of the State Bank, Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; ranked third in the entire system by the Agribank Board of Members in 2023-2024, excellent unit for 5 consecutive years (2019-2023) and many other noble awards.
