Solidarity - courage - innovation to elevate the organization of the Association
According to the Vietnam Journalists Association Electronic Information Portal, on July 31 in Hanoi, the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association held its 1st Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Mr. Ngo Van Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front (VFF), and Central organizations attended and spoke at the Congress.
The political report of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association stated that during the past term, the Central Committee of the Association successfully completed the assigned political tasks, continuing to affirm its role as a political - social - professional organization of Vietnamese journalists.
With the motto "Solidarity - Courage - Intelligence - Pioneering - Innovation - Creativity", for the 2025 - 2030 term, the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association affirms its determination to innovate and create to build a clean and strong Party organization, to do a good job of leadership and direction to improve the Association's work, contributing to building the Vietnamese press to truly be the voice of the Party, the State and the forum of the people.
The Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association has determined the goal of building the Vietnam Journalists Association into an exemplary, humane, modern, multimedia, multi-platform organization, a leading political-social-professional organization in propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, worthy of being an organization representing the ownership, aspirations, and legitimate interests of Vietnamese journalists. Accompanying all levels of the Association to build a team of members with strong political will, professional expertise, and technological skills to meet the requirements of the digital age.

The Congress announced the decision to appoint personnel for the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Deputy Secretary, Inspection Committee, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association for the 2025-2030 term.
Decision to appoint personnel to participate in the Executive Committee of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, term 2025-2030, including 15 members; decision to appoint personnel to participate in the Standing Committee of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, term 2025-2030, including 5 members.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, was appointed to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association for the 2025-2030 term.
Promoting the role of political core in the digital transformation period
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Ngo Van Cuong said that during the past term, the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association led cadres and party members to successfully implement the goals according to the Congress Resolution, contributing to the excellent completion of political tasks assigned by the Party and State. In the face of challenges from digital transformation, social networks and artificial intelligence, the Party Committee has maintained its political stance, oriented public opinion, and strengthened people's trust.

In the coming term, in the face of the international situation forecast to continue to develop complicatedly, with many new risks and challenges, Mr. Ngo Van Cuong emphasized that the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association needs to continue to promote its core role in leading and comprehensively directing all aspects of the Association's activities. Proactively and strongly innovate, enhance the pioneering role of revolutionary journalism in the era of digital transformation and artificial intelligence, contributing to protecting the Party's ideological foundation, orienting public opinion and strengthening people's trust.
To successfully carry out the set goals and tasks, Mr. Ngo Van Cuong suggested that the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association needs to continue to focus on innovation, improving quality and efficiency in all three aspects of politics, ideology and ethics.
Along with that, the Central Committee of the Association needs to consolidate and perfect the streamlined organization and apparatus, operate effectively and efficiently. Strengthen inspection and supervision in a proactive, comprehensive, focused and key manner, especially in the fight against corruption, waste and negativity; violations of the Code of Ethics for Journalists and the Rules for Using Social Networks of Vietnamese Journalists...
Mr. Ngo Van Cuong also suggested that the Party Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association continue to improve the effectiveness of the activities of the Party Committee and the Association, in conjunction with performing well the role of the press in gathering and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc.
Party members who are members of the Journalists Association must be the vanguard in propagating and mobilizing people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and patriotic emulation movements launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Strengthen the close relationship between the Journalists Association and the Vietnam Fatherland Front and other organizations, actively participate in monitoring activities, social criticism, and contribute ideas to building the Party and the government.
He expressed his belief that, with the spirit of solidarity, courage, intelligence and innovation, the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association will successfully complete its tasks for the 2025-2030 term, continue to be the core force in ideological and cultural work, and actively contribute to the cause of great national unity.
