The 19th Conference of the Party Committee of Quang Nam Provincial Agencies Bloc (Term IX)

On the afternoon of July 8 , the Party Committee of Quang Nam province convened the 19th conference (9th term) to review Party building work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy key tasks for the last 6 months of 2024.

In the first 6 months of 2024, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Bloc focused on leading well the ideological work and political and ideological education. Directing grassroots Party committees to regularly monitor and grasp the ideological situation of cadres, party members and workers; orienting information work, fighting against the "peaceful evolution" plot of hostile forces, the degradation of political ideology, lifestyle ethics, manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" among cadres and party members; focusing on directing and implementing well the political activity "Improving the sense of responsibility and effectiveness of public service performance of cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees" in agencies and units under the Party Committee of the Bloc.

In the first 6 months of 2024, 37/155 outstanding people were admitted to the Party, reaching 23.8% of the assigned target; 84 cases were officially transferred to Party membership; 123 cases were issued Party membership cards; 2 Party badge awarding sessions were organized, 1 case was decided to be expelled from the Party, and 1 case was removed from the Party membership. The work of inspection, supervision, and Party discipline enforcement was also focused on and promoted.

Along with that, Party Committees in Party and mass organizations have focused on leading cadres and party members to actively advise and organize the study, dissemination and implementation of the Central Committee's resolutions and directives; directed and guided the implementation of measures to prevent, handle and remove bad and toxic information and distorted information of hostile and reactionary forces on cyberspace, especially issues related to Quang Nam; and strengthened the work of Party building and rectification.
