Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee deploys tasks for the fourth quarter of 2024

On the morning of October 8, in Ha Long City, the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee (TQN) held an extended Party Executive Committee meeting to review the work of the first 9 months of the year and deploy tasks for the fourth quarter of 2024.

The first 9 months of 2024 were a difficult time for TKV in general and the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee in particular. Especially in the third quarter, extreme weather conditions with continuous large storms caused extremely heavy losses to units, seriously affecting production and the completion of political , economic and technical targets of the entire Party Committee.

In that context, the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee has focused on promoting the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system; innovating methods, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party; actively coordinating with the TKV Party Committee to stably manage the production of products, contributing to the reasonable and sustainable development of the mining industry of Quang Ninh province; synchronously implementing solutions to ensure safety in production labor; protecting the environment; strengthening basic technical management; promoting the application of new technology, mechanization, automation; and caring for the lives of workers.

The Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee has also issued a plan to organize party congresses at all levels towards the 6th Quang Ninh Coal Party Congress; revised and issued a joint resolution and coordination regulations for the 2024-2025 period; and resolutely directed units to respond to and overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.

Comrade Vu Anh Tuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee, gave a speech at the conference.

Assessing that the tasks in the last months of 2024 are very heavy, Comrade Vu Anh Tuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee, requested the branches and Party committees to continue to promote their role as leaders, continue to direct and implement Resolution No. 20 -NQ/TU dated November 27, 2023 of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee on the direction and tasks for 2024 with the theme "Improving the quality of economic growth; developing culture and people rich in Quang Ninh identity"; Resolution No. 08-NQ/DU of the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee, Resolution No. 136-NQ/DU of the TKV Party Committee on the direction and tasks for 2024, Party committees at all levels in the Party Committee focus on leading and directing the implementation of tasks in the fourth quarter and the whole year of 2024. Party committees at all levels direct the professional launch of a 90-day production competition in the fourth quarter of 2024 to comprehensively complete the production and business plan for the fourth quarter and the whole year of 2024; tighten labor safety; protect the environment, prevent natural disasters, rescue and relief.
