The Committee for Culture and Society reviews documents submitted to the 2025 Year-End Session of the 10th Provincial People's Council

On the morning of November 21, the Committee for Culture and Society, the Provincial People's Council held a conference to review documents submitted at the 2025 Year-End Session of the 10th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.

The conference reviewed the reports: Implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on the Socio -Economic Development Plan for 2025 and directions and tasks for 2026; assessment of the implementation of the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan 2021 - 2025 and the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan 2026 - 2030 of Ca Mau province; work of the Provincial People's Committee in 2025.

In addition, delegates also discussed and gave opinions on the reports and draft Resolutions on: Socio-economic development plan of Ca Mau province in 2026; Socio-economic development plan of Ca Mau province for the 5-year period 2026 - 2030.

At the conference, delegates basically agreed with the content of the reports. However, based on a close assessment of the results of achieving the socio-economic development targets for 2025, delegates requested the drafting agency to consider, study and review the tasks and target ratios, ensuring the similarity and feasibility of the 2026 plan, especially the contents related to asset and financial management when implementing the arrangement of the 2-level local government model; the implementation of social security policies; environment; progress of implementing national target programs; education and training; public investment; revenue and expenditure tasks of localities... Thereby, it is proposed to develop specific solutions to implement the planning targets, directions and tasks of socio-economic development to achieve the best results in the coming time.

Speaking at the conference, the leader of the Culture - Society Committee requested the drafting agency to absorb, review, update and supplement the contents according to the contributions of delegates; in the process of updating the draft, the submitting agency needs to closely follow the goals and requirements of the Central Resolutions that the province is implementing; in which, it is necessary to develop specific solutions, ensuring that they are suitable to the actual situation and serve the socio-economic development of the province.
