The activity was organized by the Hoi An World Cultural Heritage Conservation Center to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23) and the 26th anniversary of Hoi An Ancient Town being recognized as a World Cultural Heritage (December 4, 1999 - December 4, 2025).
The exhibition program features 30 panels introducing images of typical stone inscriptions. The stone inscriptions are particularly important sources of information, reflecting many values about the history, culture, residents and social life of ancient Hoi An.

Some notable steles on display include: Quan Cong Temple restoration stele (dating from the year Quy Dau 1753), Lai Vien Kieu restoration stele (dating from the 16th year of Gia Long - 1817), Thanh Chau communal house stele (dating from the 6th year of Thieu Tri - 1846)...
The carvings and calligraphy on the steles also show the artistic imprint, aesthetic thinking and cultural changes through each period, not only in Hoi An but also nationwide, contributing to enriching the nation's heritage treasure.
