Quality assessment of 3 training programs at Cuu Long University

(NLDO) - According to plan, the official survey at Cuu Long University will take place from November 15 to 18.

On November 15, the External Evaluation Team (EDT) of the Saigon Education Quality Assessment Center in collaboration with Cuu Long University organized the opening of the official survey to assess the quality of training programs (CTDT) of Cuu Long University including: 2 university training programs (Plant Protection, Mechanical Engineering Technology) and 1 master's training program in Economic Law according to Circular 04 of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Attending the survey were Associate Professor, Dr. Le Van Anh - Head of the Evaluation Team; Dr. Le Hoang Vu - Deputy Director of CEA-SAIGON, and other members of the team.

On the side of Cuu Long University, there were Distinguished Educator. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luong Minh Cu - Party Secretary, Principal of the University; Dr. Dang Thi Ngoc Lan - Vice Principal; MSc. Nguyen Cao Dat - Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors; and all leaders and experts of affiliated units.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Le Van Anh affirmed that the members participating in the assessment were auditors with expertise and experience in the assessment work, promptly helping the school promote its strengths and overcome shortcomings (if any). From there, the training programs of Cuu Long University are increasingly improved, contributing to improving the training quality of the unit.

Also at the opening session, Distinguished Educator Luong Minh Cu stated that the accreditation of training programs for universities plays a particularly important role. It clearly demonstrates the value of the training brand and the unique academic attributes of each school.

Therefore, after completing the 2023 educational institution quality assessment (cycle 2) organized by CEA-SAIGON, Cuu Long University and CEA-SAIGON continued to sign and implement external assessment and evaluation of 3 training programs.

At the same time, she introduced an overview of the 3 officially surveyed training programs... From there, it helped delegates and the Evaluation Delegation have an overview of the school, faculty and training programs.

According to the plan, the official survey will take place from November 15 to 18. After the opening session, the Evaluation Team will study the supporting documents and work with school leaders and staff in charge of work areas as well as conduct on-site observations of facilities and interviews with relevant parties to have an objective assessment of the accredited training programs.
