Cuu Long University signed a cooperation agreement with Saigon-ITO Hospital System

(NLDO) - Saigon-ITO wishes to connect and cooperate with Cuu Long University in the medical field, contributing to taking good care of people's health.

On the afternoon of September 9th, the leaders of Cuu Long University held a meeting and working session with the Saigon - ITO Hospital System to discuss comprehensive cooperation in the field of healthcare and medical services.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Pham The Dong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saigon-ITO Hospital System; Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tam, Director of Saigon International Orthopedic and Trauma Hospital, and other members of the delegation.

Representing Cuu Long University were Distinguished Educator, Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Minh Cu - Party Secretary and Rector; Dr. Nguyen Thanh Dung - Vice Rector; Dr. Dang Thi Ngoc Lan - Vice Rector; Master Nguyen Cao Dat - Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors; and leaders of several affiliated units.

Speaking at the meeting, Distinguished Educator Luong Minh Cu gave a brief introduction to the school. According to him, it is a multi-disciplinary training institution covering four fields: Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Engineering and Technology, and Economics and Finance.

Within this, the Health Sciences field comprises 9 undergraduate programs and 3 first-level specialist programs. The health sciences training program has a scale of approximately 12,000 students. The university is currently investing in the construction of an 8-story building to serve the training needs of the Health Sciences sector. In the future, we hope that the cooperation between the two sides will yield many positive results.

The two sides discussed potential areas for future cooperation. Following the exchange, they agreed to sign a comprehensive memorandum of cooperation in the field of health and healthcare, encompassing professional activities, technical support, experience sharing, and collaboration in community programs.

The two sides signed a memorandum of cooperation.

During the meeting, Mr. Pham The Dong stated that Saigon-ITO is a specialized orthopedic hospital system in Ho Chi Minh City. Currently, Saigon-ITO has two hospitals and a multi-specialty clinic.

With a mission to bring global medical advancements to Vietnam, Saigon-ITO, with its team of highly qualified and experienced doctors and medical professionals, has continuously improved the quality of its services to meet the healthcare needs of people both domestically and internationally.

Saigon-ITO's focus is on providing healthcare for the elderly, and therefore it wishes to connect and cooperate with Cuu Long University in the field of healthcare, contributing to better healthcare for the people.
