According to Variety, director Darren Aronofsky will adapt the Elon Musk biography, written by Walter Isaacson, into a film after independent film studio A24 acquired the copyright. Darren Aronofsky is the man behind famous, Oscar-nominated films such as Requiem for a Dream (2000), Black Swan (2010), The Whale (2022).
For Black Swan (2010), Aronofsky was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Director, while Portman won the award for Best Actress.
Just released to global readers on September 12, the biography of Elon Musk written by Walter Isaacson quickly became a hit, making it to Amazon's bestseller list as well as topping many prestigious charts.
This sparked a fierce competition to win the rights to adapt the book into a film. In the end, the winning side was the independent film studio A24 and famous director Darren Aronofsky.
