This year's tournament is held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection, in the context that Vietnam is actively implementing major policies on comprehensive international integration, following the direction of Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW of the Politburo .

The resolution emphasizes that integration is not just about high-level diplomatic commitments or multilateral economic agreements, but a comprehensive process, involving all areas of social life – from security, defense, education, science, technology, to sports and culture. In which, people and businesses are identified as the center, as creative subjects.

Sports, with its ability to connect, spread emotions and transcend national boundaries, has become an effective soft diplomacy tool. Through the 2025 ASEAN Police Football Championship, Vietnam has demonstrated its leading, proactive and responsible role in the regional community through dedicated preparation and civilized organization.

Behind those memorable experiences is a quiet but well-organized system with hundreds of logistics staff, coordination teams, interpreters, media, security, medical staff and volunteers working tirelessly to ensure each ceremony and each match takes place smoothly and completely.

In that work, there was smooth coordination from functional agencies, professional units, along with close, in-depth support from domestic economic organizations. In particular, the main sponsors of the tournament, SHB and T&T Group, played an important role in ensuring organizational, logistical, cultural and communication conditions. Without ostentation, without standing at the center of the stage, they were present where it was most needed - where there must be standards, responsibility and professional organizational experience.

A special highlight of the tournament was the elaborate opening ceremony, with cultural depth and regional artistic character. On the background of connecting music, the performances of nearly 200 officers and employees from participating support units and dozens of children from the SHB FC Academy football training program - along with professional artists - left an indelible mark on international friends.

The performers are not artists, they are employees from the bank, the companion enterprise SHB and T&T Group, who after work spend time every week practicing, just to appear on stage for a few minutes, but enough to show one thing: We are proud to represent the country, with kindness, with discipline, with passion.

The way such companions choose to appear, not through big brands, but through practical actions, is a testament to the creative business model that Vietnam is encouraging.
