Taking place from October 10, 2025 to October 12, 2025 with the spirit of "Connecting - Sharing - Spreading Love", the 1st World Cultural Festival in Hanoi gathered a large number of international friends, artists, social organizations, businesses and Vietnamese people to support the community heavily affected by natural disasters. The event also demonstrated the spirit of international solidarity in joining hands to respond to global challenges, especially climate change.
At the opening ceremony of the 1st World Cultural Festival on October 10, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that Vietnam is currently experiencing a period of natural disasters, "storm upon storm, flood upon flood", in the third quarter Vietnam suffered 8 storms, 4 storms in September alone, a part of the population is struggling with the difficulties caused by natural disasters, the Prime Minister sent his deepest condolences to the localities and families that suffered losses and damage to people and property; at the same time, he called for contributions, cooperation and sharing from people across the country and international friends for those who are being severely affected by natural disasters.
The Prime Minister also highly appreciated the program for its strong expression of Vietnamese cultural identity, including the culture of sharing and helping each other with national and compatriot sentiment; contributing to sharing and sending feelings in many different forms to compatriots suffering the consequences of climate change, including the current storms and floods.
Therefore, tonight's charity auction (October 11) is not only a place to honor cultural diversity, but also a place to connect hearts and compassion without borders, a bridge connecting the hearts of people and international friends with our compatriots who are suffering from floods.

Two artists who are close to and loved by the public – People's Artist Tu Long and People's Artist Xuan Bac – Director of the Department of Performing Arts (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) accompanied and led this special auction.
Special products to be auctioned include: Hanoi Ao Dai of the 30s - designed by designer Vu Viet Ha; "Golden Lotus" design by designer Anh Thu, from the Ao Dai Ngan An brand; "Yen Vu" design by designer Nguyen Mi; "Lien Vu" silk scarf design by designer Van Hang from the DeSilk brand; "Lien Vu" Ao Dai design from the Nguyet Hoa collection by designer Ha Trinh; a special ceramic art work called "Mother and Child" by artist Ngo Ba Hoang; a special jewelry work from the Huong Jewellery brand; the painting "Ancient Cheo Dance and the Sound of the Kite Flute on the Golden Field" by artist Ngo Ba Hoang.
With the spirit of "mutual love", the charity auction achieved 2.5 billion VND from donors to support people in flood-affected areas.
