The World Culture Festival in Hanoi, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Hanoi People's Committee, took place from October 10 to October 12. With the spirit of "Connecting - Sharing - Spreading Love", the event gathered a large number of international friends, artists, social organizations, businesses and Vietnamese people to support localities heavily affected by natural disasters. The festival is not only a cultural and artistic activity but also demonstrates the spirit of solidarity, humanity and social responsibility of the community in joining hands to support those in difficult circumstances.

In addition to fashion designs, many handicraft works were also successfully auctioned, contributing significantly to the charity fund. Together with other products, the total amount of donations reached 2.5 billion VND.
According to a representative of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, all proceeds will be quickly transferred to localities affected by storms and floods, to support the construction of houses, schools and public works, contributing to alleviating losses and helping people stabilize their lives soon.
Previously, in his opening speech at the World Cultural Festival in Hanoi on the evening of October 10, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that Vietnam is experiencing a period of natural disasters, "storm upon storm, flood upon flood". In the third quarter alone, Vietnam suffered 8 storms, 4 of which occurred in September alone. A part of the Vietnamese people are struggling with the difficulties caused by natural disasters. The Prime Minister sent his condolences and deep sympathy to the people who have suffered loss of life and property in the current natural disaster and flood areas; emphasizing that Vietnam calls for contributions and sharing from the people of the whole country and international friends for those who are being severely affected by natural disasters.
With the spirit of “mutual love”, the charity auction within the framework of the World Cultural Festival in Hanoi became a highlight rich in humanistic meaning, contributing to spreading the message of a culture of sharing, connection and love.
