Promoting industrial promotion, supporting over 3 thousand local workers

Implementing Decision No. 1881/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on the National Industrial Promotion Program for the period 2021 - 2025, Ben Tre province has effectively deployed industrial promotion activities, strongly supporting rural industrial establishments in applying advanced machinery and equipment in production.

Accordingly, 76 rural industrial establishments in the area received a total support fund of 18.9 billion VND. Of which, the national industrial promotion fund contributed 5.4 billion VND, the rest came from the provincial budget with 13.5 billion VND. Notably, the program also attracted over 41 billion VND in counterpart capital from beneficiary enterprises, thereby creating stable jobs for more than 3,000 local workers.

Many support models have shown clear effectiveness. Typical examples are projects from the national industrial promotion program in 2021 - 2022, with a support level of 300 million VND/facility for enterprises with typical rural industrial products such as Thanh Binh Company Limited, Khang Thinh Company Limited, A Tuan Khang Import-Export Joint Stock Company... At the provincial level, projects applying new technologies such as the production of construction materials, dried fish, dried fruits... also received support from 250 - 300 million VND, contributing to innovating production processes and improving product quality.

Investing in modern machinery has helped facilities reduce errors in manual production, improve productivity and product competitiveness, and create a more favorable working environment for workers. This is also a strategic direction to promote mechanization, rural industrialization, and gradually shift the economic structure towards modernization.

In the coming time, the province will continue to focus on supporting products with potential and advantages, creating a ripple effect in the business community, contributing to the successful implementation of the development goals of the industry and trade sector and the local economy.
