- Mr. LE VAN CHI: Right from the beginning of the year, the Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch has closely followed the direction of the Central Government and the province, proactively implementing the credit growth plan in conjunction with the local socio -economic development plan. Total capital to date has reached 7,952 billion VND, an increase of 435 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year, a growth rate of 6.4%. Loan turnover has reached 1,705 billion VND, with 29,903 poor households and policy beneficiaries borrowing capital. Debt collection turnover has reached 1,262 billion VND. Total outstanding credit balance has reached 7,905 billion VND, an increase of 443 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year, a growth rate of 6%, with 152,071 households with outstanding loans.

Through policy credit activities, it shows that all credit plan indicators have grown evenly. Timely disbursed capital has met the demand for production loans, served the people's lives, and contributed to the implementation of social security goals in the province.

* Reporter: Sir, how are social policy credit activities carried out through entrusted associations and organizations?

- Mr. LE VAN CHI: Currently, the total outstanding loans entrusted through associations and unions account for 99.9% of the total outstanding loans, with 152,071 households still in debt, belonging to 3,400 savings and loan groups. Associations and unions receiving the trust closely coordinate with the Social Policy Bank to focus on doing well the entrusted contents, reviewing beneficiaries, and promoting the dissemination of preferential credit policies to poor households and policy subjects.

Debt and interest collection work is always ensured according to plan. The quality of operations of savings and loan groups is guaranteed. The number of groups classified as having good quality operations accounts for 97.7%, the number of groups classified as having fair quality operations accounts for 1.4%.

* Reporter: What solutions does the branch have to ensure the ability to increase capital and credit growth to meet people's capital needs in the coming time?

- Mr. LE VAN CHI: Currently, the Branch continues to closely follow the direction of the General Director of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, of local Party committees and authorities; taking advantage of central capital and promoting the mobilization of local capital, focusing on mobilizing all resources to expand lending. The Branch directs transaction offices to complete procedures, documents, and quickly disburse capital sources according to plan.

At the same time, continue to maintain and organize stable and effective social transaction activities. Regularly review, consolidate and improve the quality of the savings and loan group system to best serve the people's needs for loans, debt repayment, interest payment and savings. Strive to achieve the credit growth target of 7% by the end of June as planned.
