At the conference, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Ninh Thi Minh Hoa - Head of the Organization and Personnel Department announced the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on the merger of Binh Dinh Provincial Police and Gia Lai Provincial Police, appointing Major General Le Quang Nhan to the position of Director of Gia Lai Provincial Police; Decision of the Minister of Public Security on the appointment of 8 Deputy Directors of Gia Lai Provincial Police; Decision to establish Commune-level Police and the organization and apparatus of the Departments under Gia Lai Provincial Police.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Quoc Dung emphasized: Entering the revolution of reorganizing and streamlining the apparatus, from July 1, 2025, Gia Lai and Binh Dinh provinces will merge with the aspiration and belief of bringing the nation into a new era of development. Becoming a part of the revolution is an honor and pride for Gia Lai province in general and the Gia Lai Police force in particular. Gia Lai province has a particularly important strategic position in terms of economy and national defense, and in the coming time, the tasks set forth are very heavy. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hopes that the Police force will excellently fulfill the tasks assigned by the Party, State and People, ensuring political security, maintaining social order and safety in the province, protecting the peace and happiness of the People, and entering an era of great development of the country.

Speaking at the task assignment for departments and local police, Major General Le Quang Nhan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police - emphasized: Units and local police must quickly stabilize their organizations, immediately start working, not allowing work to be interrupted, interrupted, or broken; ensure that all activities of the police force must serve the people and businesses better; effectively implement Project 06 of the Government; ensure the maintenance of security and order in all situations.

In the immediate future, focus on reviewing, developing, and supplementing working regulations, clearly assigning responsibilities to leaders and commanders; strengthen inspection and guidance of grassroots police, ensure the best working conditions and accommodation for officers and soldiers in new work units, with the spirit of overcoming all difficulties, striving to excellently complete all assigned tasks.
