Expedite the progress of key projects in Dongxing.

Currently, on key projects in Dong Hung district, contractors are overcoming all difficulties, concentrating human and material resources to accelerate construction progress, striving to complete the projects according to the set plan.

Construction is underway on the project to upgrade and renovate Highway 53, the section from National Highway 10 to Lam Bridge, Dong Vinh commune.

During the summer months, the construction site of Pham Huy Quang Secondary School is bustling with activity. Mr. Tran Quang Trung, a technical officer at Duy Tuong Co., Ltd., stated: "Determined to prevent construction disruptions caused by prolonged hot weather interspersed with rain, we mobilize dozens of workers in shifts each day, along with supporting machinery, to ensure the health of our workers and achieve the highest efficiency. The project has a total investment of 36 billion VND, with construction value exceeding 30 billion VND. To date, Phase I of the project has completed over 90% of the work, including a 3-story school building with 27 classrooms and a 3-story administrative building. We are striving to complete it ahead of schedule to ensure handover before the start of the 2023-2024 school year and are ready to proceed with Phase II."

The project to renovate and upgrade the Dong Hung District Martyrs' Cemetery is nearing completion and will soon be handed over to the district.

At the first phase of the renovation and upgrading project of the Dong Hung District Martyrs' Cemetery, the atmosphere is one of intense activity. The project, with a total investment of 14 billion VND, commenced in March 2023 and is expected to be completed in December of this year. The project includes items such as a memorial house, a monument, a courtyard, and a perimeter wall. The large volume of work, the high aesthetic demands, and the tight construction timeframe have prompted the contractor to concentrate manpower and resources to ensure the project's progress.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Manh, Director of Hung Manh Co., Ltd., shared: "This project holds special spiritual significance, so the company has instructed all employees to 'overcome the sun and rain' to complete it on schedule. To date, we have basically completed the four main memorial monuments and statues, striving to finish them by July 15th so that the district can organize the commemoration of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27th and welcome people to light incense and pay tribute to the heroes and martyrs. We will complete some auxiliary items as soon as possible. With the current construction speed, the project will be completed at least 3-4 months ahead of schedule."

Along with the two aforementioned projects, Dong Hung district is directing relevant units to urge contractors to continue implementing projects carried over from 2022 and projects whose investment capital plans have been approved by the People's Council, the majority of which are key transportation projects. Despite facing numerous difficulties due to rising material prices and unfavorable weather conditions, contractors are striving to overcome these challenges to accelerate progress and complete projects on schedule. Many important transportation projects, such as the project to renovate and upgrade the inter-district road connecting from Highway 45 to Provincial Road DT.396B, have reached 95% completion; the project to invest in the construction of the rescue and relief road Highway 48 from the left dike of Tra Ly to Phien Bridge has reached 85% completion; and the project to upgrade and renovate Highway 53 from National Highway 10 to Lam Bridge, Dong Vinh commune (Phase I), has reached 65% completion. In addition, projects such as the renovation of Dong Hung town, the rescue and relief road project from National Highway 39 to the left dike of Tra Ly River through Phu Chau and Trong Quan communes, and the technical infrastructure project for the commercial housing area in Thang Long commune... are also being urgently implemented.

To expedite the construction progress of projects, the People's Committee of Dong Hung District directed specialized departments and agencies to focus intensely on preparation; effectively implement administrative procedure reforms, especially in handling documents and procedures, creating favorable conditions for projects to be implemented according to plan.

Mr. Do Quang Huy, Deputy Director of the District's Investment and Construction Project Management Board, said: The Board has assigned technical staff to coordinate with the consulting and supervision unit to regularly monitor the construction site to promptly inspect and urge contractors to ensure the quality, quantity, technical standards of the project, labor safety, traffic safety, and environmental hygiene. They proactively grasp the situation and advise the District People's Committee on resolving difficulties and obstacles. They regularly send staff to each construction site to inspect and monitor progress, urge contractors to focus resources on accelerating construction progress, ensure the completion of disbursement according to the allocated capital plan, and promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles for contractors.

Under the close guidance of the District People's Committee, and with the decisive involvement of various departments, localities, and contractors, the progress of key projects in Dong Hung district is being accelerated, striving for early completion and commissioning to meet the requirements of local socio -economic development.
