It is known that the permitted mining capacity of the mine in village 6B, Ea Pal commune, Ea Kar district to serve the construction of Component 2 Project is 1,180,000 m3 (raw stone). Meanwhile, the total demand for raw stone to serve Component 2 Project is about 926,000 m3 , with a surplus of 254,000 m3 .

Thus, this quarry is sufficient to meet the stone material requirements for construction of Component Project 2 and 3 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project.

The Provincial Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic Works and Rural Development Agriculture (investor of Component Project 3) said that the material demand for the project is about 1.4 million m3 of various types of stone, 0.4 million m3 of sand and 1.4 million m3 of fill soil.

The ability to supply construction materials for the project has encountered many difficulties due to the passive exploitation and production of various types of stone. This has greatly affected the progress of implementing items such as foundations, foundations, and road surfaces. Although some contractors have been proactive in using commercial materials, the exploitation capacity of mines in the province has not met the huge demand of the project.

Up to now, for quarries that have met the conditions for exploitation, investors are directing construction contractors to increase exploitation work and increase stone material production lines to soon supply enough for the project.

The mine in Ea Kenh commune, Krong Pac district has completed the site inspection so that the specialized agency can advise the Provincial People's Committee on land lease procedures, ensuring sufficient conditions for exploitation to serve the construction project.
