Proposal to discipline 3 former leaders of Vinh Phuc province for involvement in Phuc Son case

The Central Inspection Committee proposed that competent authorities discipline the former secretary, former provincial chairman and former vice chairman of Vinh Phuc province for their involvement in the Phuc Son case.

On November 18, the Central Inspection Commission held its 51st meeting to review the report on the proposed disciplinary action against party members who violated the law at the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Pham Van Vong, former Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee.

Accordingly, the Central Inspection Commission pointed out many violations by related individuals.

These people include: Mr. Pham Van Vong, former member of the Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Phung Quang Hung, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Ha Hoa Binh , former Vice Chairman of the Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee.

The inspection agency determined that these officials had degraded in political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle; violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks; in preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity; and in organizing and implementing projects of Phuc Son Group Joint Stock Company.

Three former leaders of Vinh Phuc province also violated regulations on what party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing very serious consequences and huge losses to the state budget.

The Central Inspection Commission determined that these violations caused public outrage and had a very negative impact on the reputation of the Party organization and local government, to the point that disciplinary action was required.

Pursuant to Party regulations, the Central Inspection Committee requests competent authorities to consider and discipline Mr. Pham Van Vong, Mr. Phung Quang Hung, and Mr. Ha Hoa Binh.

Also at this session, the Central Inspection Commission reviewed the results of the implementation of inspection and supervision conclusions of a number of organizations and individuals.

The inspection agency requested the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Central Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and a number of related individuals to continue to lead, direct and seriously implement the conclusions of the Central Inspection Committee.

In addition, the Central Inspection Committee reviewed and resolved one denunciation and reviewed and concluded a number of other important contents.
