The film “With you there, peace is here” is produced by the Vietnam Television Film Center, with close coordination from the Department of Political Work, Ministry of Public Security . The film will air at 9pm from Monday to Friday every week on VTV1, starting from July 29. The “director” of this project is Meritorious Artist Nguyen Danh Dung - a director who has made his mark with a series of highly rated political films such as “Brain Battle”, “Borderless War”, “Khong The Gut”.

Sharing about the film “Co anh noi ay binh yen”, director, Meritorious Artist Nguyen Danh Dung said that the film has a strong current event imprint, reflecting one of the major policies of the Party and State which is to bring regular police to the commune. The film is set in a coastal commune with many problems arising locally right before and during the implementation of the organization of the apparatus towards streamlining, efficiency, effectiveness, and efficiency, eliminating the district, county, town, and township levels, including the District and County Police…

Along with that are many complicated issues in the locality, including the problem of preventing and combating counterfeit and poor quality goods, seemingly simple incidents but if not handled skillfully, will make the situation more complicated. Of course, "Co anh noi ay binh yen" is not simply a professional film, but also a humane story, promoting the ideals of young people who want to contribute and find the meaning of their career in a new environment. The film crew determined that this is a propaganda film, but the stories are "told" in a simple, close, and attractive way for the audience, so that each viewer can see somewhere their own story, their locality in it.

The film "With you, there is peace" revolves around the journey of Huy - a district police officer who was assigned to Tien Phong commune, when there were consecutive incidents causing insecurity and disorder. Here, Huy had to face difficulties that were very different from the disciplined and orderly environment that he was used to in his old position. There were incidents that seemed simple but became difficult practical problems that he and the officers of Tien Phong commune had to face. Police officers like Huy are not only simple law enforcers but sometimes also psychologists to answer all questions, help people understand right and wrong, and overcome the consequences they caused in a reasonable and sympathetic way.

The film's appeal also lies in a complex, multi-layered script. Along with the dramatic investigative storyline, the author skillfully weaves in everyday, familiar stories. That is the story of a 14-year-old boy named Thien who chose to drop out of school, hang out, and hang out with "gangsters" because of the lack of attention from his alcoholic father, who is constantly in a drunken stupor. That is the story of the brothers Mr. Hoa, Thuan, and Qua dividing the land; the trouble that arises between a divorced couple who still live together...

Through these stories, the audience can better understand the work, psychology and circumstances of the police officers who work at the grassroots level. They not only face criminals but also have to put themselves in complex neighborhood relationships and invisible pressures between reason and emotion.

There, they must be really close to the people, close to the people, from there they can mobilize the people to accompany and help them complete their tasks well... By telling engaging stories, both touching and profound but mixed with a bit of humor and gentleness, director, Meritorious Artist Nguyen Danh Dung "softens" a political topic, turning macro issues into close stories, touching emotions, helping viewers understand more deeply the silent sacrifices of the communal police force in particular, and the People's Public Security in general.

Another notable point is that the film has gathered a cast of famous and talented actors. Among them, actor Vinh Xuong - a familiar face to the audience in the films "Dau Tri" and "Doc Dao" will continue to meet the audience in the role of Bang, a scheming, violent man hiding behind the shell of a successful businessman, a generous brother. Actor Tuan Tu plays Huy. He said that he was under a lot of pressure when playing the role of a police officer and this is a multi-dimensional, complex role in this film.

Also participating in the film are many other actors such as: People's Artist Bui Bai Binh, Meritorious Artist Phu Don, Meritorious Artist Thanh Quy, Meritorious Artist Thanh Binh, Meritorious Artist Ba Anh, Meritorious Artist Thai Son, Van Dung, Thu Quynh, Hoang Cong, Thanh Tu, Le Bong and many other actors inside and outside the People's Public Security Forces. According to the producer, "Co anh noi ay binh yen" is also one of the film projects with the largest cast of actors of the Television Film Center, Vietnam Television.
