At the time of announcing the sample test last February, according to the Ministry of Education and Training , the test format structure was oriented towards competency assessment, in line with the 2018 General Education Program.
In the 2025 high school graduation exam, the chemistry exam has clear changes towards competency-based approach, interdisciplinary integration and practical application.
The exam increases practical application questions, reduces theoretical questions and instead includes situations related to life, technology or the environment.
The results of the high school graduation exam will be announced on July 16, and graduation recognition will be considered no later than July 18. Applications for re-examination will be accepted from July 16 to July 25, and re-examination will be held no later than August 3, and recognition after re-examination will be considered no later than August 8.
An important new point in this year's high school graduation exam is that the exam score only accounts for 50%, the remaining 50% is taken from the results of 3 years of high school.
