To let artists devote themselves with peace of mind

To help artists feel secure in their work, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee have issued many directives, resolutions, decisions, projects, plans, and action programs to pay attention to and encourage artists to actively create many literary and artistic works to serve the cause of innovation and development of the province.

The Provincial Literature and Arts Association has advised the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee to approve Project 2304 on developing literature and arts in Vinh Phuc province for the period 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030; the project to develop policies to support the creation of outstanding literary, artistic, and journalistic works and projects under the State's ordering mechanism, for the period 2020 - 2025...

Implementing Project 2304 on developing Literature and Arts in Vinh Phuc province in the period of 2022 - 2025, every year, the Literature and Arts Association has encouraged authors to participate in regional, national and international competitions, festivals and exhibitions such as the Red River Delta Regional Music Festival; Art Photography Festival and Fine Arts Exhibition of Region III (Viet Bac - Tay Bac); participate in annual activities of Literature and Arts Associations...

In order for artists to be dedicated and devoted to their profession, based on the Central Fund for Supporting Literary and Artistic Creation, from 2019 to 2025, the association has supported more than 110 literary and artistic works, clusters of works, cultural research, publishing and promotion.

From the province's regular funding for literary and artistic creation, from 2019 to 2025, the association has organized creative camps, creating conditions for members to go on field trips and learn from experiences inside and outside the province; professional activities (seminars, exhibitions, etc.) for members of all majors, collecting hundreds of literary and artistic works. At the same time, it organizes printing, publishing, dissemination, creative support, and promotion to serve research, exchange, and ordering of creative works; ensuring timeliness, efficiency, and compliance with regulations and procedures.

Comrade Bui Xuan Thanh, Chairman of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, said: Compared to other localities, Vinh Phuc is a province with a high level of support and remuneration for artists. Based on Decision No. 22 of the Provincial People's Committee on supporting and rewarding subjects operating in the field of culture and arts; managing village cultural houses - residential groups and rural cinema in the province, from 2015 to 2024, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association has proposed the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council to consider rewarding nearly 2 billion VND for more than 210 works by authors who are members of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association that won prizes in regional, national and international competitions, festivals and exhibitions.

In addition, according to Project 2304 on the development of provincial literature and arts in the period of 2022 - 2025, the level of support for the creation and promotion of artistic works has been improved. Royalties, remuneration for creating and promoting works in Vinh Phuc Literature and Arts Magazine have been increased (among the top of the local press and literature sector nationwide)... Thereby creating motivation for artists to have many valuable works, dedicated and devoted to their profession.

Poet Nguyen Ngoc Tung, a typical member of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, shared: "With the attention of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee, we have enjoyed preferential occupational allowances and support for those working in the province's literature and arts sector. Thereby, it helps artists ensure their livelihoods; creates motivation to continue to devote themselves to their profession and promote creativity, create many high-quality works, and serve the people."

In order for artists to feel secure in their contributions, in the coming time, all levels and sectors in the province will pay attention to training, fostering theory and expertise, developing members, especially young members with capacity and potential, and building a successor team to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

Timely commend, reward and honor talented artists with many contributions; pay attention to support and create conditions for artists to promote their talents and creativity, nurture their passion for culture and arts, and contribute more to the cause of building culture and comprehensively developing Vinh Phuc people.
