The concert was named after the female singer “Ly”, which was also a song composed by Vu Minh Vuong for Khanh Ly and about her. The program was directed by musician - Master Minh Thanh , edited and responsible for the content by Nguyen Khanh Ly herself. The guests of the concert were People's Artist Duc Long, singer - musician Duong Truong Giang, and singer Thu Ba.
The singer shared: “The minishow is Ly’s way of expressing gratitude to those she is grateful to. They are her teachers, family, friends, companions, and the audience who admire her, her students.”
During the music night, Sao Mai Khanh Ly will perform the following lyrical songs: Nhu da dau yeu (Duc Huy), Bay gio thang may (Tu Cong Phung), Nightingale sings in the rain (Duong Thu), Ly (Vu Minh Vuong), Da qua xa roi (Duong Truong Giang), So yeu (Hoang Nha), Niem khuc cuoi (Ngo Thuy Mien). The female singer will also duet with People's Artist Duc Long the songs Mua he dep nhat (Duc Huy), Chuot nho (Nhat Trung); and harmonize with Duong Truong Giang with Da qua xa roi by the male musician.

As for the guests, People's Artist Duc Long will bring the love songs Tuyet roi mua he (Tran Le Quynh), Chut nhu nam 18 (Quoc Dung), Lu khuc tinh phai (Tran Thiet Hung); singer - musician Duong Truong Giang will sing 2 songs composed by himself: Ha Noi mua la bay, Chi la thoi gian cho nhau da het ; singer Thu Ba will sing Tinh lo cach xa (Chinese music), Muon mang la tu luc (Duc Tri).
In addition, Nguyen Khanh Ly's student Vu Quang Cong (First prize winner of Hanoi Singing Contest 2023, Second prize winner of National Chamber Music Contest 2023) and a female choir will perform the work "Confessions of a Singer" by musician Phu Quang.
Recently, Khanh Ly has not appeared much on music stages, because she is busy with both training and studying for a PhD with many difficulties and pressures.
After graduating with a Master's degree, Nguyen Khanh Ly continued to do research, defending her doctoral thesis in music under the guidance of People's Artist Trung Kien. But her studies were unfinished when People's Artist Trung Kien passed away in 2021, which really shocked her. People's Artist Trung Kien was not only a teacher, but also a spiritual support for Sao Mai Khanh Ly.

The shock, along with the difficulties in her research and study, affected her psychologically. She could hardly work or sing well because she had to strain herself… It was not until 2023, after completing her PhD thesis defense, that she thought about returning to the stage.
“Music is like a medicine that can soothe and heal. Now, I want to sing and live true to my love for music. With this concert, I am determined to return to music more clearly and strongly,” the singer shared.
At the same time as the “Ly” music night, singer Nguyen Khanh Ly also released an album of the same name as a gift to friends, relatives and audiences attending the music night. The album was produced by Khanh Ly in collaboration with musician Minh Thanh and designer Cao Minh Tien, with meticulous attention to detail from the music to the visuals.
Sao Mai Khanh Ly was born in Nghe An and grew up in Thai Nguyen. She won the Second Prize of Hanoi Television Singing Contest 2006, the Third Prize of Hai Phong Radio and Television Singing Contest 2011, the Second Prize of Bac Giang Radio and Television Singing Contest 2011, the Third Prize of Sao Mai National Singing Contest 2011, and the Second Prize of the City Chamber Singing Contest 2017.
