The City People's Committee has just issued a plan to implement Directive No. 10/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on promoting the development of small and medium enterprises.

The city aims to have at least 18,000 more businesses, branches and representative offices by 2030; prioritize the allocation of resources to support the development of small and medium enterprises, support businesses in digital transformation, green transformation, and the development of new business models; departments, branches and sectors uphold the spirit of responsibility, taking people and businesses as the center; promote the role of associations representing the business community, acting as a bridge between businesses and state management agencies; small and medium enterprises continue to promote the tradition of national pride, flexibility, innovation, and aspiration for development to enrich themselves and society.

Regarding solutions, relevant departments, branches, agencies, and units complete policies and laws, reform administrative procedures, create a favorable and equal investment and business environment for small and medium enterprises; plan and develop infrastructure; support small and medium enterprises in accessing finance and credit; support small and medium enterprises in improving the quality of human resources in digital transformation, increasing labor productivity, building Vietnamese enterprise brands to expand the market and participate more deeply in the value chain; further promote the role of the City Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry - Central and Central Highlands branches.
