After the Lunar New Year holiday of At Ty 2025, many banks have launched a lucky money program to thank customers and bring luck in the new year. With lucky money envelopes, banks not only create a vibrant atmosphere on the first trading day of the year but also show their connection with customers.

On the morning of the 6th day of Tet (February 3), bank branches in the province welcomed hundreds of customers coming to do transactions. The atmosphere at the transaction counters became more lively when many customers received lucky money from the bank.
At Vietcombank , this bank is implementing the program "Welcoming the first luck of the year of the Snake 2025" with 20,000 lucky money envelopes for customers. Accordingly, on the first working day of the year of the Snake (February 3, 2025), customers who transact at the counter and transact online and satisfy the conditions of the program will receive a lucky money gift worth 100,000 VND from Vietcombank. The program applies to the following transactions: Savings, loans, VCB Digibank registration, issuance/renewal of international debit/credit cards, purchase of FWD life insurance, international money transfer and receipt, etc.
Meanwhile, KienlongBank brings lucky spring fortune to customers through the program "Save now - Receive lucky money immediately". From February 3-5, 2025 (6th to 8th of Tet), customers depositing savings and term deposits in VND at the transaction counter, with a minimum deposit of VND 50 million, term of 6 months or more, will receive lucky money immediately in cash. The more money customers deposit, the higher the value of lucky money.
ACB also launched a lucky money program with unlimited value, up to 6.8 million VND for customers who deposit 60 million VND or more with a term of 3 months. Meanwhile, VPBank launched the program "Tet comes - Luck comes" with a total lucky money value of up to 3 billion VND, applied from February 3 to May 3, 2025.
Not only giving lucky money on the first trading days of the year, Nam A Bank also adds interest to customers' savings, gives gifts, and refunds when spending on cards... to encourage customers to use banking products and services.
Customers are excited
Not only a financial transaction, receiving lucky money at the beginning of the year at the bank has brought joy to customers.
Ms. NTT in Tay Hoa district shared: “On February 3 this year, it was the due date of my savings book, so I went to the bank to complete the procedures to close it and send back a new book. Not only that, I also deposited more money to qualify for lucky money. Although the amount received was not large, I felt very happy because the bank wished me luck at the beginning of the year.”

Mr. Phan Khac Nhon in Hoa Vinh Ward, Dong Hoa Town also excitedly said: “I run a restaurant so I have income during Tet. Therefore, usually after Tet, as soon as the bank reopens, I go to deposit money. Every year I receive lucky money from the bank, I consider it a lucky gift at the beginning of the year.”
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Hoa, Deputy Director of Vietcombank Phu Yen, the New Year lucky money program is the bank's way of expressing gratitude to customers who have trusted and accompanied the bank over the past time.
