On the evening of August 24, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi announced the sub-criteria with standard scores, in the method of considering high school graduation exam scores and HSA capacity assessment scores.
Sub-criteria for admission scores to majors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities are as follows:

University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi added additional criteria.
For example, the benchmark score for Journalism is 28.2 (original combination) with a secondary criterion of preference order less than or equal to 4. Thus, even if a candidate achieves a benchmark score of 28.2 but places a preference from 5 onwards, he/she will not be admitted.
Candidates with a benchmark score above 28.2 do not consider additional criteria.
Information about the additional criteria is announced by the school 2 days after the benchmark score. Thus, there will be more cases of candidates who thought they passed but failed.

Along with that, the school is also solving the problem of "mistaking the subject name" in the D66 combination, which led to many candidates having extra points but not passing. According to the initial enrollment plan, the D66 combination includes the subjects of literature, English, and economic and legal education.
However, when the benchmark scores were announced, candidates discovered that the D66 combination had been redefined, replacing the subject of economic and legal education with the subject of civic education.
The school said it is asking for the Ministry of Education and Training's opinion on how to handle the situation, and at the same time instructing candidates to send information before 5:00 p.m. on August 26 for support.
