Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics has just announced the results of the 2025 regular university entrance exam with the first admission method.

In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics will enroll 7,980 students with 5 admission methods. Specifically, including: direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; admission of candidates who have graduated from foreign high school programs and have international certificates; admission of candidates with good academic results; admission based on the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam, the results of the V-SAT exam (only applicable to Vinh Long Branch and organized by Can Tho University in 2025) combined with international English proficiency; admission based on the results of the high school graduation exam.

In particular, the school has announced the results of the first method of direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and according to the university admission information for the 51st course of full-time training in 2025 of the school. Candidates can use their ID card number to look up the results at the school's Admissions Portal.

Candidates are officially admitted to the school when they meet the following conditions: have the admission result "Qualified for admission"; graduate from high school or equivalent according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; Candidates who are notified of "qualified for admission" need to register their admission wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal from July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28.

Which candidates does Method 1 apply to?

According to the announced information, method 1 of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics applies to candidates who meet the direct admission conditions specified in Clause 1; Point a, Clause 2; Clause 4, Article 8 of the Regulations on University and College Admissions for Preschool Education of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Specifically including: Labor Hero, People's Armed Forces Hero, National Emulation Fighter; Candidates who won first, second, third prizes in national and international excellent student competitions or national and international science and technology competitions organized and sent to participate by the Ministry of Education and Training; the time of winning the prize must not exceed 3 years from the time of direct admission.

For candidates with severe disabilities who have a certificate of disability issued by a competent authority as prescribed, are able to study certain majors, majors, and training programs but are unable to apply for admission through the normal admission method, the conditions for submitting an application for direct admission to UEH are: candidates are exempted from the high school graduation exam; have academic results that are assessed as good (academic performance ranked from excellent or higher) and training results that are assessed as good (conduct ranked as good) for grades 10, 11, and 12.

Candidates who are ethnic minorities with very few people according to current regulations of the Government and candidates from 20 poor border and island districts in the Southwest region, the conditions for submitting an application for direct admission to UEH are: having good academic results (academic performance ranked from excellent and above) and good training results (conduct ranked good) for grades 10, 11 and 12. Candidates must study additional knowledge for 1 school year before officially entering school.

Candidates who have a permanent residence of 3 years or more, studied for 3 years and graduated from high school in poor districts (ethnic boarding high school students are calculated based on their permanent residence) according to the regulations of the Government and the Prime Minister, the conditions for submitting an application for direct admission to UEH are: having good academic results (academic performance ranked from excellent and above) and good training results (conduct ranked good) for grades 10, 11 and 12. Candidates must study additional knowledge for 1 year before officially entering school.

The first admission method of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics also applies to foreign candidates who have graduated from high school or equivalent, meet the language proficiency standards required by the industry, major, and training program prescribed by UEH and in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
