Relocation of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park: Special task force will carry out special tasks, using special methods

Reporting at the meeting, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction Huynh Tan Loc said that, implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the department has drafted a decision to establish a special working group. The group has 10 agencies including departments, branches, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and the People's Committee of Bien Hoa city. The group leader is Mr. Huynh Tan Loc, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction; 2 deputy heads are Mr. Ngo Duc Thang, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance and Mr. Tran Anh Son, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police.

The main task of the working group is to help the Provincial People's Committee basically complete the work of compensation, support, and relocation of enterprises out of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park. Propose solutions to support the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, support Bien Hoa City People's Committee and related units to speed up the implementation of legal procedures; closely coordinate with related agencies to remove difficulties, resolve arising issues to promptly relocate organizations and households out of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park.

At this working session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha said that site clearance for Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park is an urgent task. The province cannot change the roadmap and must complete site clearance before August 25, 2025 for the auctioned land and the area planned to build the Provincial Political - Administrative Center; before December 31, 2025 for the remaining land.

The establishment of this task force is to provide legal support and promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles to carry out the task of land clearance. Each member of the Task Force registers to carry out the task weekly at the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and reports the results at the end of the week.

“A series of projects are waiting for land auctions. The province needs land to build the Provincial Political and Administrative Center. Therefore, the special task force will carry out special tasks, using special methods to soon have a clean land” - the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized.

The provincial leaders agreed to assign the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to be the entity responsible for compensating enterprises. The Department of Finance will allocate funds for the center to carry out this task. The special working group will provide legal support for the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to comply with regulations. The working group will work with the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to build a progress gantt line and report the results to the provincial leaders every 2 weeks.

Previously, at the working session on May 5 regarding the progress of the Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park Conversion Project and the land use rights auction plan in 2025 in the province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Thai Bao directed the establishment of a special working group to support the relocation of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park.
