(LĐ online) - On the morning of December 4, at Dong Do village, Tan Nghia commune, Di Linh district, the Department of Grassroots Culture (Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism), the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province and Di Linh district jointly organized the launching ceremony of the K'Ho ethnic folk song and dance club model.

The club currently has 35 members, a group of local people who have been trained in building a grassroots cultural life and are capable of performing traditional K'Ho folk songs and dances in the locality. The establishment of the club aims to contribute to preserving, conserving and promoting the traditional cultural values and identities of the K'Ho people in Di Linh district, Lam Dong province.
To support the club's activities, relevant units have supported the club with: 1 set of traditional gongs; a To Rung solo instrument with 12 - 16 bamboo pipes; a Dinhpah instrument with 25 bamboo pipes and a drum.
Previously, from December 1 to 4, the Department of Grassroots Culture, the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province and the People's Committee of Di Linh district coordinated to organize training on building grassroots cultural life for 100 students in Dong Do village, Tan Nghia commune, Di Linh district.

The training content includes 4 main topics: Dissemination and propaganda of the contents of Party documents and State laws on building cultural families, cultural villages (hamlets, villages, etc.), preserving and promoting traditional cultural values in ethnic minority areas; Guidance on reviewing, inspecting and implementing village covenants and conventions, integrating the contents of building village covenants and conventions in the movement of All people uniting to build a cultural life, implementing a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals; Guidance on skills to implement the construction of community cultural activities in villages and hamlets; Teaching unique folk songs and dances of the K'Ho ethnic group in community cultural activities.
The training course is a practical activity contributing to concretizing the tasks in the implementation plan of the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas for the period 2021 - 2025 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. At the same time, it also contributes to raising the awareness and responsibility of people and communities in building a healthy, progressive and civilized cultural environment; preserving and exploiting national cultural values associated with tourism development.
