Di Linh: Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gung Re commune successfully organized a model congress

(LĐ online) - On January 18-19, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gung Re commune (Di Linh district) held the 13th Congress of Delegates for the 2024-2029 term.

This is the unit selected by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Di Linh district to organize a model congress for commune and town units to gain experience and direct grassroots congresses in the district.

Gung Re is a purely agricultural commune. The whole commune has 6 villages, of which 03 are ethnic minority villages from the Central Highlands, accounting for 47.1%. The average income per capita at the end of 2023 reached over 55 million VND/person/year, the poverty rate was 28 households, accounting for 1.69%. In the commune, there are 03 religions: Buddhism 381 households, accounting for 24.4%, Catholicism 294 households, accounting for 18.9%, Protestantism 27 households, accounting for 1.8%.

During the past term, in Gung Re commune, the Fatherland Front system from the commune to the villages effectively carried out the task of gathering and building the great national unity bloc, contributing significantly with the Party and government to successfully carry out the task of socio -economic development and ensuring national defense and security.

Notably, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune regularly coordinates with member organizations and the Front Working Committee of the villages to do a good job of propaganda and mobilization of the people of all ethnic groups in the commune to effectively implement the movements and models launched by the Fatherland Front at all levels. The Fatherland Front of the commune regularly maintains contact with religious organizations in the area, thereby building the great national unity bloc. The organization of the "National Great Unity Day" to celebrate the founding anniversary of the Vietnam National United Front on November 18 in residential areas is maintained annually, with the participation of many cadres and people.

Gung Re commune has now built 4/6 residential areas that have achieved the title of “Model residential area” and 1 “Typical residential area”. The commune currently has 3 villages that have achieved the title of model new rural village: Klong Trao 1 village, Dang Rach village and Hang Hai village.

The commune Fatherland Front regularly promotes patriotic emulation movements and campaigns. In particular, it focuses on promoting the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". From there, it mobilizes people in villages in the commune to participate in collecting waste, contributing to environmental protection; coordinates the organization of 720 campaigns to implement the Saturday movement for new rural areas, attracting 14,850 participants; mobilizes people to build 130 concrete yards; donates over 10,000 ^m2 of land, contributes and reciprocates to build traffic routes in the village; mobilizes villages to contribute to renovating the hall, building cultural village gates, etc.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune has coordinated with member organizations to call for socialization to build 20 houses for poor households and households in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 1.8 billion VND. The Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune has built 04 houses for poor households with a total amount of 425 million VND; mobilized support for 1 child with a serious illness with a total amount of 100 million VND; mobilized support for people struck by lightning and fire with a total amount of over 400 million VND; coordinated with member organizations to provide humanitarian charity support for poor households and families in difficult circumstances during Tet with a total amount of over 1 billion VND.

During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Gung Re commune has newly built 07 effective operating models including: Self-management model on security and order in Klong Trao 2 village; Environmental protection and food hygiene and safety model in Klong Trao 1 village; Waste collection model to protect the environment in Dang Rach village; Traffic safety and order protection model; Typical model of Civilization in weddings, funerals and festivals in Lang Ku village; Model of mobilizing people to eliminate customs and practices that are no longer suitable in Hang Lang village; Model of Religion participating in environmental protection, responding to climate change in Hang Hai village...

At the congress, delegates focused on discussing and contributing ideas to improve the effectiveness of the Front's work; affirming the role and position of the Front organization, contributing to the implementation of political tasks in the locality.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", the Congress passed the Resolution for the 2024-2029 term. Accordingly, the key tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Gung Re commune are determined as follows: continuing to strengthen the organization and innovate the content and methods, improving the effectiveness of the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new period. Promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, strongly directing activities to the grassroots level, diversifying forms of coordination in propaganda, mobilization, gathering people of all walks of life to compete in creative labor, implementing patriotic emulation campaigns and movements, social security programs, sustainable poverty reduction, contributing to the completion of socio-economic, defense and security goals of the locality, building Gung Re commune to develop comprehensively and sustainably...

This congress also consulted to elect the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gung Re commune, term XIII, 2024-2029, then held the first session to elect the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gung Re commune; at the same time, consulted to elect a delegation to attend the 10th Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Di Linh district, term 2024-2029.
