Thang spent a lot of time thinking about whether or not to change jobs. However, he still wanted to stick with the rescue work that he was passionate about. When he returned home, he was surprised to hear his wife suggest finding another job. His wife said she had found an office job selling fire protection equipment, with office hours, safe and not affecting his health. Hearing his wife's words, Thang just kept quiet and smiled lightly.

At the office, Minh Long shared with Ha his fear when facing a recent dangerous incident. He confided:

"When the car sank into the lake, there was water all around, the pressure was so great that I couldn't breathe. There was no way out, only despair. The fire was hot, but at least I could see a way out. But this time, water covered everything. Light is usually the scariest thing when fighting a fire, but when the car sank, light was the only hope I could not find. If I die, who will take care of my mother?"

Minh Long burst into tears. Ha also shared about losing her father while he was on duty. She said she always tried to return safely because she was afraid her mother would be lonely. Like Ha, other team members such as Duc Anh and Thang all have families waiting for them, creating a strong motivation to live in them.

After the conversation, Ha and Minh Long went to the night market. Coincidentally, Ha's mother was also there and caught her daughter with her boyfriend. She asked for an official introduction, and Long agreed. This made Ha uncomfortable because she didn't want people to misunderstand their relationship.

Dr. Hong Ngoc shared with Duc Anh the pain of losing her grandmother. She said:

"There are times when a loved one passes away that make you realize you need to cherish and protect those who are still alive. Duc Anh, I will protect you."

Ngoc revealed that she had waited 10 years to become his personal doctor and return to her first love. Ngoc's confidences made Duc Anh very happy. He wrote in his diary: "When did she become strong? Why can't I think of anything when I'm with her? I must never lose this smile."

Returning home, Duc Anh asked his father to find a position in the orchestra for the girl who had previously attempted suicide. His father agreed because he saw that she had very good piano playing skills.

Minh Long and his teammates inspected the fire safety at the karaoke bar. During the inspection, the team discovered that the karaoke bar did not meet safety requirements. They asked the owner to add equipment or they would suspend operations. The owner tried to bribe the inspection team but was refused. So the owner temporarily closed the bar to deceive the authorities.

On the same day, a serious fire broke out at the market. The cause was that the owner of a paper joss paper shop burned incense but did not check carefully before leaving. The fire department immediately received the order, but due to an accident on the way, they arrived at the scene late. The members divided into several teams, searching for the fire spot.

While on duty, Ha was almost hit by a heavy object falling on her, but luckily Minh Long caught her in time. The fire became complicated, and the fire brigade had to request reinforcements.

After 3 hours, the fire was finally extinguished. However, instead of thanking the fire brigade, the merchants blamed them and threw things at them, saying that they were late and caused great damage to their property. Seeing the people blaming them, the rescue team could only remain silent.
