COVID-19 epidemic today: No more serious patients

Regarding the COVID-19 epidemic situation today , the Ministry of Health said that from 4:00 p.m. on September 2 to 4:00 p.m. on September 3, the whole country recorded 12 cases, equivalent to the previous day.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Vietnam has had 11,622,924 infections, ranking 13th out of 231 countries and territories. The total number of cured cases is 10,640,555. The number of deaths due to COVID-19 in Vietnam to date is 43,206, accounting for 0.4% of the total number of infections.

During the day, 4 more patients were announced to be cured, bringing the total number of cured cases to 10,640,555. Currently, there are no more serious patients in the country.

Currently, our country has injected more than 266.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine. The number of doses injected for people aged 18 and over is 223,841,647 doses; the number of doses injected for children aged 12-17 is 23,965,655 doses; the number of doses injected for children aged 5-11 is 18,725,280 doses.

Vietnam is one of the countries with the highest COVID-19 vaccination coverage in the world . The rate of full vaccination for people aged 12 and over is approximately 100%.
