Accordingly, the Medicine and Dentistry majors have the highest floor score of 20.5. The second highest floor score is Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy, with 19 points or more. The remaining majors have floor scores of 17 or more.
Specifically, the threshold to ensure input quality from high school graduation exam scores for admission to health majors at university level in 2025 for candidates in region 3 has the minimum score (without coefficient) of all combinations, regardless of the exam results of candidates studying the 2006 and 2018 programs as follows:
The minimum score for majors in the health sector with a practice certificate is announced annually by the Ministry of Education and Training. In 2024, the admission threshold for majors in Medicine and Dentistry is 22.5 points; for Pharmacy and Traditional Medicine is 21 points. Majors in Health include: Nursing, Preventive Medicine, Midwifery, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Rehabilitation Technology, and Dental Prosthetic Technology with a minimum score of 19.
Previously, many schools training in the Health sector predicted that the benchmark scores for this year's majors would tend to decrease, following the general trend of the score spectrum - especially the B00 block that was just announced.
For example, at Hanoi Medical University, Associate Professor Dr. Le Dinh Tung, Vice Principal of the school, predicted that majors with admission scores above 28 points last year will not have many changes. As for majors with admission scores from 27 to 28 points, this year's admission scores will decrease slightly.
Before 5pm on July 28, candidates nationwide can register and adjust their university admission wishes, with no limit on the number of adjustments. Currently, schools are announcing the floor scores and predicting the standard scores, along with the percentile table for converting exam scores according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, to be completed before 5pm on July 23.
After completing the application, candidates need to pay the admission fee online from July 29 to 5pm on August 5. The admission results, or benchmark scores, will be announced by universities before 5pm on August 22.
