At the ceremony, Mr. Vu A Bang, Vice Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee, praised the achievements of teachers and students in particular, and the provincial education sector in general; requested the provincial education sector to continue to strengthen and regularly innovate, have positive and appropriate solutions for each stage to create motivation, promote and build love for the profession for each teacher; promote scientific research activities, coordinate with all levels and sectors to create conditions for students to have a useful playground to participate in scientific research, access science, and cultivate their mettle.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Education and Training awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 students of Dien Bien province who won second and third prizes in the 2023 national high school student selection exam. The People's Committee of Dien Bien province awarded Certificates of Merit to 11 students; the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation awarded 3 teachers with outstanding achievements in training students for the national excellent student team; the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education and the Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union also awarded many students.
