Kieu Duy launches community health project ahead of Miss International 2025

Miss Vietnam Kieu Duy has just announced the SDGs project called "Touch" that she carried out while accompanying the charity program "Following you to school - Dien Bien 2025. "

It is known that this is the 3rd goal in the 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations and is also one of the goals that Kieu Duy has taken a lot of effort to pursue.

Kieu Duy shared: “ Duy has heard stories about families who lost loved ones just because of seemingly simple fevers, or cases of losing cognitive ability after just a minor cold. To prevent unfortunate things from happening, Duy decided to build the ' TOUCH ' project to bring loving medicine cabinets to children and people in remote areas . ”

Kieu Duy believes that any school or family should have a medicine cabinet with as many basic medicines as possible so that small problems do not become big concerns, so that people can be proactive and timely.

During this volunteer trip to Dien Bien, Kieu Duy visited three highland schools in Muong Lan and Muong Luan communes. She said that she and her group traveled more than 500km from Hanoi to Dien Bien, from 3am to 5pm to arrive at the first school, Muong Lan Secondary School, then Pa Vat Kindergarten and Chieng Son Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.

These are three schools that were heavily affected by storm number 3, so the volunteer group brought gifts including school supplies and personal items to contribute to the children and local people.

At Chieng Son school - the place recorded to have suffered the most damage after the storm, Miss Kieu Duy presented a medicine cabinet of love with the hope of joining hands with the school to take care of the health of the students.

After the first activity of the "Touch" project in Dien Bien, Miss Kieu Duy said she is planning to "upgrade" the project, not only to bring loving medicine cabinets to schools and households, but also to equip basic knowledge about medicine and health care for people in remote areas.

Miss Kieu Duy is currently preparing the final luggage and skills for the journey to Miss International 2025 which will take place this coming November in Japan./.
